7 Things
14 05 2007As tagged by Lo, here are 7 things about me:
(have I done this before? It feels familiar, but upon searching my archives I find nothing…)
1. I’m a good listener.
2. I’m terrible at remembering names, faces, dates, and sequences.
3. I went through a phase when I was 13 where I was “saved” at my local baptist church. I got over it.
4. My heritage is French Canadian and have always called my grandmother and grandfather “Memere” and “Pepere” (pronounced “Memay” and “Pepay”).
5. I am afraid of bugs. There, I admitted it. I make E. kill all the bugs in our house. I think she has realized that it’s in her best interest to just go along with this.
6. I grew up in VERY rural Maine next to a dairy farm where my dad has milked cows since before I was born.
7. My absolute biggest pet peeve is when people interrupt during conversation.
Hmmm, now I must do the tagging. I tag: Jude, Kieron, Rootsinthesand, CD & SP, Sara & Erin, J, and Vee & Jay. Apologies if you have already posted “7 things” - I took a quick peak and didn’t see them near the surface…

Hey, I have French Canadian heritage and a Memere, too! Did you have Matantes and Mononcles, too? I only had one Matante (in our crazy French Canadian town, that was pronounced “muh-townt”), but my childhood friend who has a million nieces and nephews will always be “Matante Chrissy” to me.
Hooray!
